He couldn't do it. He just couldn't. Umeshu stared straight ahead, the enemy lay before him, collapsed on the cold hard ground. His allies, his friends were a blur of vivid colour and noise surrounding him. Everything seemed to be moving in slow motion, enclosing him. He could not move, he could not speak. Just stare, horrified, into the beautiful green eyes. He couldn't fight with Kish.

He wanted to say "I love you" right there on the battlefield.

He wanted peace. No more fighting. No more suffering. They thought it was all over, but apparently not. It wasn't that simple. Umeshu didn't really understand...

"Umeshu! Wake up!"

"KILL HIM!"

Umeshu ignored the voices shouting at him. He closed his eyes tight and ran towards Kish, into his arms. Kish held the small Mew Mew boy close to him, and teleported.

Landing in the spaceship, the secret room. Alone. Finally.
Kish slumped down on the bed, writhing like there was no air. He had suffered numerous injuries from this particular fight and was having difficulty breathing... It was useless trying to hide how much pain he was in. He couldn't go on like this, fighting endlessly against someone he loved. If he won, he'd loose Umeshu. If he lost, his planet would suffer forever and he'd have failed Deep Blue. Umeshu lay down next to him, gazing into his eyes. Kish smiled weakly.

"I had to get out of there, Umeshu..."

"It's okay, I understand. But... Kisshu-kun, they'll probably think you kidnapped me, then try to save me! But they can't find out we came here to... Talk..." He then blushed.

"Umeshu, that doesn't matter for now. We need to decide what to do, I mean, we can't be enemies at the same time as lovers."

"I don't feel right about trying to stop you at all costs... You need to save your planet, Kisshu-kun. But I still need to protect mine..."

"I love the way you think, Umeshu. Not all people would be so selfless."

"Kisshu-kun..." Umeshu blushed at being flattered, and couldn't resist kissing the gorgeous alien that lay before him. Kish smiled. "I think we shouldn't fight against each other anymore..."

"So what are you saying?"

"We'll join together, not for victory of either side, but for peace, and compromise. Doesn't that sound better?"

"Originally I wold say no to a suggestion like that, but... I think that it could work, Umeshu. I really do!"

"Really?" Umeshu smiled happily "oh, Kisshu-kun! Thank you!" He hugged him tightly, and Kish hugged him back, even though it was quite painful due to his injuries. Then Kish smiled brightly, making Umeshu smile back. He stroked the adorable boys cheek and kissed him, slowly pushing him down onto the bed. He slid his and up Umeshu's shirt, touching his skin, pulling him closer. Umeshu shyly slid his hands onto Kish's hips. Kish pulled away for a second.

"I love you, Umeshu."
